The Alpha Omicron chapter of Phi Mu was founded at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1950. For the past 63 years, our members have been involved in every aspect of campus and community life.

Our Mission

The mission of Alpha Omicron chapter shall be to encourage and promote the purpose and ideal of Phi Mu fraternity on this campus and function by the rules in the Fraternity's National Constitution and Bylaws and Standing Rules and Procedures.

These words are the cornerstones on which our Fraternity was founded and the principles which guide our Sisterhood today. Phi Mu Fraternity provides personal and academic development, service to others, commitment to excellence, and lifelong friendships through shared values.
